<Description>
<DescriptionText><text>
The pvac_threshold parameter specifies the minimum allowable picker vacuum
sensor reading required for the firmware to consider that a plate is being held
by the picker vacuum cups. When the vacuum reading is below this value, the
firmware will consider that there is no plate on the picker cups.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
The PICKER command will display the vacuum sensor reading and indicate whether
it is above or below the threshold specified by pvt. The al pvs parameter is
used to enable or disable the picker vacuum sensor. If the sensor is disabled,
then the full delay specified by aldly vac is used while waiting for vacuum to
build.

<Notes>
<DescriptionText><text>
This parameter should be set according to the following formula. Typically, the
default value will be very close this already.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
pvt = (Vp - Vnp)/2 + Vnp
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
pvt = pvac_threshold.
Vp = vacuum reading with vacuum turned on and plate on the cups.
Vnp = vacuum reading with vacuum turned on and NO plate on the cups.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
For plunger-less suction cups, the vacuum level reached is lower for small plates
than for larger plates. Therefore, the above calculation should be done based on
the vacuum reading when the picker is holding the smallest plate to be used.
